Upgraded or New Items for the Phoenix U-15 (2023-2026) vs Earlier Models (2009-2023)

1. Full and larger instrument panel, large enough for 2 – 10″ EFIS’, although 1 – 12″ EFIS is sufficient. Please see the dropdown for PANELS. Thick carbon fiber plate used, completely customizable.
2. Can choose the total energy system you prefer for the variometer. Total energy pitot, or the LXNav “Hawk” computerized system.
3. New harder, whiter polyurethane paint system, much better than the gel coat previously used.
4. Many options/colors available for trim.
5. Testing for both empennage and wings for flutter have been completed. Appropriate design changes implemented.
6. New and improved propeller feathering system using newly designed hydraulic mechanism. Much more robust than the previous system.
7. Interior design much improved offering many choice of colors and styles. Only premium leather used.
8. Oxygen system by Aithre, AVI24C 2 place computerized system. Much improved performance and oxygen saving system requiring only a small bottle saving weight and space.
9. Better cockpit ventilation.
10. Upgraded restraints. More robust than the older restraints, with a choice of colors.
11. Now using Beringer brake system. A big improvement over the previous system.
12. Better grade of tires now being used
